Madden-ism

While broadcasting the Steelers-Jaguars game last night, legendary coach and broadcaster John Madden offered this gem:

You know, being a coach is a good thing, because you can go both
ways. If your defense is going well, then you can say you're a defensive
guy. And if your offense is going well, then you can jump on that
side. And if neither one is going well, then you're Brian Billick.

I thought that was pretty funny.
