In addition to being a voice of opinion, this blog serves as a permanent historical records of some of the goings on of the city.

I think there should be a disclaimer on this section of quotes from the Mayor. Something ot the effect that while these quotes are true and accurate, they may contain bad grammer, lack depth, and have no logical basis.
Just my thought!
