I simply could not resist! As reported:
Two people were caught trying to steal toilet paper early Saturday out of a bathroom at the Horn Point Harbor Marina in Eastport.
Shortly before 6 a.m., a man nearby spotted the two potential thieves trying to make off with the toilet paper and told them to drop the rolls, according to a police report.
The suspects dropped them and left, and the man reported the incident to police.
As an outsider looking in to the happenings of the Maritime Republic of Eastport, one can understand why demand for toilet paper might be high!
